Are you looking for a pup as a Livestock Guardian, a pet, both, or something else? Please explain. * 3. If looking for a LGD dog, what livestock will you need to have guarded? * 4a. Do you own or rent your home? * 4b. If you rent, do you have landlord approval to have a Great Pyrenees breed dog? * 5a. How much land will the Great Pyr have to roam upon? * 5b. Will the Great Pyr have access to shade on earth, and/or running water, to cool themselves in the summer? They appreciate both as they tend to overheat in hot weather. 5c. Great Pyrenees bark at night. LGDs also travel far (regularly, up to a mile) when guarding and exploring their territory. They may be trained to low-lying electric and/or woven wire fencing, though they are prone to digging. They may also be trained to invisible fencing, though such fencing may be more affective with more mature dogs (over one year). Please confirm that you understand, and that you have researched your local leash laws. * 6. It is recommended that large breed LGDs not be spayed or neutered until they reach maturity, at around 18-24 months of age. One reason is because spaying/neutering negatively affects their physical development. Please note, however, that females often are often ready to breed before 1 year of age, and males well before that. We have used a Delay Her Spay dog chastity belt, and our dog has been ok with this as long as sizing was correct, and belt was not too tight. Please confirm that you understand. * 7a. Are you looking for a male or female Great Pyrenees pup? * Male Female More Than One No Preference 7b. If female, would you like to learn about less invasive laparpscopic and open overiectomies, and/or dog chastity belts? * 8a. We have found that the diet we raise our dogs and pups on can prevent many ailments and allow them to enjoy good health long-term. Would you like to learn about the raw Natural Rearing Diet? * 8b. Are you open to feeding your pup a transitional diet similar to the raw diet they are accustomed to, if you intend to transition them to dried foods? This may greatly help them in their transition away from their mama. 9. How did you hear about us? * 10.
